Notes for Creativity Training
Ideas on how to redirect technology and gaming addiction toward productive outcomes, from AI-powered education to elderly companion bots.
While AI models will continue replacing human labor, humans should focus on winning in creativity. Generative models are tools — similar to pens and dictionaries — that boost productivity but don’t automatically enhance creativity. With the liberated productivity, we humans will and should devote more time to being creative.
I’m opening my blog to track ideas that might help improve the world.
Using Video Game Addiction for Good Causes
What if we could redirect gaming addiction toward productive outcomes?
Shoot to Label: Transform FPS games into image annotation tasks where players shoot specified targets in collected real-world images, generating labeled data for AI training.
Games as Textbooks: Develop visual novels teaching history, literature, and science through engaging puzzles and experiments.
Stock Market Simulator: Use generative AI to simulate market dynamics and train for handling rare events.
Classroom Simulation: Create AI-powered classroom simulations where humans supervise and provide feedback.
Caring for Others
Elderly Companion: Virtual AI companions to keep seniors company and alert during emergencies.

AIGC Driven by Brainwaves: Enable generative models activated by brain activity rather than prompts (citing CVPR 2023 research).
LLMs for Ethical Hacking: Specialized AI tools to identify system vulnerabilities.
Human-Pet Translator: Multi-modal models potentially translating between human and animal communication.
Closing Remarks
Some of these ideas may seem unconventional, but I believe they can be put to good use through refinement and implementation. The key is to think creatively about how AI can serve humanity, not just replace it.
